Google AdSense Setup & Optimization

Your AdSense Is Probably Losing 30–70% of Its Potential Revenue

Independent advisor · Fixed fee · No revenue share · You keep account access

An AdSense setup and audit is a review and configuration of your Google AdSense account, ad placements, ads.txt and GDPR consent, done for publishers so your existing traffic earns closer to its potential. Wrong placement, missing consent, incorrect ads.txt or hidden policy issues are the leaks we look for and fix. Fixed price, no revenue share, your account stays yours.

Where Publishers Lose AdSense Revenue

These are the most common revenue leaks we find in AdSense accounts. If any of these apply to you — an audit will show exactly what to fix.

🇪🇺
EU publishers lose a large share of ad revenue without TCF 2.3 consent
Without a properly configured GDPR/TCF 2.3 Consent Management Platform, most EU users are served non-personalized ads at much lower CPM. Two signal layers have to line up: Google Consent Mode v2 (Google's own signal framework) and the IAB TCF 2.3 CMP. Publishers search both terms and confuse them. We configure and verify the CMP, the AdSense consent message and Consent Mode v2 so consent actually reaches ad requests, on every language version. This is one of the biggest revenue leaks for European publishers.
📉
Low RPM despite good traffic
Your traffic is there but AdSense earnings are disappointing. Wrong placement strategy, missing anchor ads, or a suboptimal Auto Ads configuration can leave a meaningful share of potential revenue on the table.
🚫
AdSense account suspended or application rejected
Google's policy engine flags violations that aren't always obvious. Thin content, policy-violating page types, or incorrect ads.txt are common culprits. We identify the exact issue and create a recovery plan.
🛡️
Traffic-quality red flags that precede a limit or suspension
Paid-traffic sources, incentivized clicks and ad-density hotspots are patterns that commonly precede invalid-traffic limits. Google runs its own Invalid Click Detection and no third party can guarantee account safety, so anyone selling "ban protection" is overselling. The audit flags these risks, recommends monitoring and reporting steps, and prepares a clean paper trail in case a review ever happens.
📄
ads.txt and sellers.json not set up correctly
Missing or incorrect ads.txt lowers CPM because buyers can't verify inventory authenticity. This is a quick fix with a direct revenue impact.
⚠️
Not sure what Google policies apply to your site
AdSense has 40+ policy categories. Publishers often unknowingly violate content policies, ad placement rules, or traffic quality requirements, then get suspended without warning.
🐌
Auto Ads hurting page speed and user experience
Auto Ads is convenient but can insert ads aggressively, hurting Core Web Vitals (CLS, LCP) and user experience. Manual placement with clear rules often outperforms Auto Ads on RPM.

What we need from you to start

A short, honest checklist. Nothing here needs a password, and the audit can begin as soon as the invites land.

Read-only access, by invite

Read-only AdSense access and GA4 viewer access via a Google invite. We never ask for passwords, and you revoke access with one click after delivery.

A developer contact (Setup tier)

For the Setup tier, CMS admin or a developer contact so ads.txt and the consent code can go live. For the audit alone, this is not required.

Your current CMP name

Tell us your consent tool, or "none". Your consent state decides which fix we prioritize first, so this shapes the whole report.

Not Sure Which Service You Need?

Service Selection Guide

Three different problems — three different solutions. Here's how to choose.

Why CyberLab

We Work Where Others Won't

No minimum traffic requirement
Ezoic (de facto 25K–50K PV), Mediavine (50K sessions), Setupad (300K+ PV) all require significant traffic. We work with any site size — from day one.
Fixed price, not revenue share
Managed platforms take a recurring cut of your ad revenue for as long as you stay. Our fixed-fee model is different: you pay once and keep 100% of your earnings going forward.
Your account stays yours
Managed platforms require DNS control or deep JavaScript integration. We don't touch your infrastructure. Your AdSense account remains under your full control.
4 languages — EN/UK/RU/PL
Most competitors support English only. We work with Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian-speaking publishers who have had no local professional support until now.
EU expertise + GDPR compliance
We're based in Estonia (EU). GDPR/TCF 2.3 compliance is our default, not an add-on. Critical for EU publishers who lose a large share of revenue from missing consent.
Google Partner since 2015
9 Google certifications. 490+ publishers helped. This isn't a side project — publisher monetization is what we specialize in.

Managed platforms gate on traffic and keep a share of revenue for as long as you stay; a freelance gig can paste code but signs no DPA and leaves no written report. Our audit is a fixed-fee written report from a registered EU company, with no traffic minimum.

Cheap gig or accountable agency?

A fair question, so here is the honest version, including when the cheap option is genuinely fine.

A cheap marketplace gig

A cheap gig can install ad code. What it does not do: nobody signs a DPA, nobody issues an EU VAT invoice, and nobody answers for a policy strike three months later. You are buying a task from an anonymous account, not accountability.

Our audit

A written report with a refund-backed guarantee, delivered by a registered EU company (CyberLab.Team OÜ) that stands behind the work. If a policy issue appears later, there is a real entity and a paper trail to point to.

Honest caveat: if you only need code pasted into one template page, a gig may genuinely be enough, and we will tell you so in the free consultation.

Who does the audit, and two checks you can run first

No black box. You know who does the work, and you can rule out the easy problems yourself before paying anyone.

Who does the work

The audit is led by our founder, who holds a Google Product Experts directory profile and Google Partner status (profile id 1958605533). One or two specialists work on each audit, and access is revoked after delivery. Real credentials, no invented team.

Two free DIY checks

Open yourdomain.com/ads.txt and confirm your publisher-ID line appears exactly as AdSense shows it. Then open the AdSense Policy Center and check for active issues. If both pass and revenue is still disappointing, that is exactly what the €199 audit is built to diagnose.

What does this look like in practice?

A multilingual publisher came to us with steady EU traffic but earnings that felt low for the audience. The audit found the usual pattern: a consent banner was present, but the signals were not reaching ad requests on the non-English versions, so most European impressions were serving non-personalized. On top of that, ads.txt was missing a buyer line and Auto Ads were stacking near the top of long articles, hurting layout stability. We rebuilt the consent flow so Consent Mode v2 and the TCF 2.3 CMP lined up on every language version, corrected ads.txt, and replaced a few aggressive automatic slots with manual placements. Over the following weeks CPM on European sessions began to recover and the layout settled down. No account access was retained after handover.

Anonymized example of our process, not a promise of results.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is included in the €199 AdSense Audit? +
The audit covers: full AdSense account review (ad units, channels, performance data), Google policy compliance check (40+ policy categories), ad placement analysis, ads.txt and sellers.json review, GDPR/TCF consent configuration check, Core Web Vitals impact assessment. You receive a detailed PDF report + video walkthrough of findings within 3 business days.
How is AdSense setup different from your Ad Manager setup service? +
AdSense is the entry-level Google ad network, managed for you and easy to run at any traffic level. Google Ad Manager (GAM) is a professional ad server that runs multiple demand sources at once, including AdSense, direct deals and Open Bidding, and it fits larger publishers. This page covers website AdSense; if you are ready for a multi-demand stack, that work lives on our Ad Manager setup page (/services/ad-manager-setup/). Not sure which one you need? Our AdSense vs Ad Manager decision guide (/services/adsense-vs-ad-manager/) walks through it.
Can you guarantee my site will be approved for AdSense? +
We cannot guarantee approval — that decision belongs to Google. What we do is identify every issue that commonly causes rejection (thin content, missing privacy policy, age, traffic-quality signals, ads.txt) and give you a clear plan to fix them before applying. Sites that ship the audit fixes before submitting tend to clear the review on the first or second attempt instead of getting stuck in rejection loops.
My AdSense account was suspended. Can you help? +
Yes. We investigate the specific policy violation, identify all affected pages or patterns, create an action plan for remediation, and help you prepare a reconsideration request. Note: not all suspensions are reversible, and we'll tell you honestly if your case has low recovery probability.
Will you need access to my AdSense account? +
For the audit, we need Google Analytics view access and your AdSense account read access — not admin or payment access. For the Setup package, we need temporary editor access to implement changes. Your account stays under your full ownership and control at all times. We act as your advisor, not your account manager.
I use WordPress / Wix / Webflow. Does that affect the setup? +
Every CMS has its own AdSense integration nuances. WordPress has specific plugin recommendations (and plugins to avoid). Wix and Squarespace have limitations on manual ad unit placement. Webflow gives more control. We're familiar with all major CMS platforms and tailor our setup to yours.
What is sellers.json and do I need it for AdSense? +
sellers.json is a Google-required file that lets advertisers verify they're buying inventory from legitimate publishers. Without it, some programmatic buyers won't bid on your inventory, reducing CPM. It's hosted at your domain root and takes 10 minutes to set up — but many publishers miss it.
How does GDPR / TCF 2.3 consent affect my AdSense revenue? +
For EU/UK/EEA visitors, advertisers can only bid with personalized targeting if users have given GDPR consent. Without consent signals, AdSense serves non-personalized ads at a much lower CPM, which is a large revenue gap for European sites. A properly configured TCF 2.3 Consent Management Platform (CMP) can recover most of this. We set up and verify your CMP as part of the Setup package.
My site is multilingual (EN + PL + UK). How does AdSense handle that? +
AdSense supports multilingual sites natively. However, GDPR consent setup needs to fire correctly for all language versions, hreflang tags must be correct (affects content quality signals), and ads.txt must be accessible from your canonical domain. We check all multilingual-specific issues.
What is the difference between Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager? +
AdSense is the entry-level ad network, easy to use and managed by Google. Ad Manager (GAM) is a professional ad server that lets you manage multiple demand sources at once, including AdSense, direct deals, and programmatic buyers via Open Bidding. For higher-traffic publishers GAM often lifts RPM once several demand sources compete for each impression. We cover the transition in our Ad Manager Setup service.
I have 500 PV/day. Is AdSense even worth it at this traffic level? +
Yes, AdSense works from day one with any traffic level. At 500 PV/day (~15K PV/month) you won't earn much, but you can set up the right foundation now. Our €199 audit ensures your setup is correct so you're ready to scale revenue as traffic grows. Many publishers waste months with incorrect setup that limits earnings even at 100K+ PV.
Can my site be eligible for AdSense? What are the requirements? +
Google's eligibility requirements: your site must have original content (not scraped/AI-generated spam), be at least 6 months old (usually), have a privacy policy page, be accessible (no login walls for most content), comply with content policies. We run a pre-application check as part of our audit to identify any eligibility blockers before you apply.
What is the refund guarantee exactly? +
For the €199 Audit: if we don't identify at least 3 specific, actionable revenue improvement opportunities in your account, we issue a full refund, no questions asked. The guarantee applies to the audit tier only; it is a diagnostic promise, not a promise of ranking, revenue or account outcomes, which belong to Google and your own traffic.
Can I see a sample audit report before paying? +
Yes. We send a redacted PDF sample from a past AdSense audit (client name and domain removed) so you can evaluate depth, structure, and how actionable the findings are. The full report is typically 25–40 pages plus a prioritized fix list you can hand to your developer or execute yourself.
What is NOT included in the AdSense Setup service? +
We do not write content, build backlinks, or rebuild your site architecture. We do not guarantee AdSense approval (Google owns that decision) and we do not manage your AdSense account long-term — you stay in control. Ad Manager migration, Open Bidding setup, and ads.txt header bidding are separate services.
Do you set up Google Consent Mode v2 or just a TCF CMP? +
Both, and they are different layers. Consent Mode v2 is Google's own signal framework; TCF 2.3 is the IAB CMP standard. We configure the CMP, set up the AdSense consent message, and verify that consent signals actually fire on every language version of your site. Product names stay in English across locales because that is how Google labels them.
Why pay €199 when a marketplace gig offers AdSense setup for a fraction of that? +
A cheap gig can be fine for pasting ad code into a template. The difference is accountability: a written audit report, a registered EU company (CyberLab.Team OÜ) with a VAT invoice and a DPA on request, a refund-backed audit, and someone who answers when a policy issue appears three months later. If you only need code pasted into one page, we will say so in the free consultation.
Can you protect my AdSense account from invalid traffic or click bombing? +
No one can guarantee account safety; Google's Invalid Click Detection makes those calls. What we do is identify risk patterns in the audit, such as paid-traffic sources and ad-density hotspots, recommend monitoring and reporting steps, and help document good-faith compliance. Any "ban-proof" or "protection" promise is a red flag.
Do you help with YouTube channel monetization through AdSense? +
This service covers website AdSense only. YouTube Partner Program setup is a different product with its own eligibility rules, so it is out of scope here; ask in the consultation and we will point you to the right resources.
Do you offer ongoing monthly AdSense management after the setup? +
Our model is fixed-scope projects. The Premium tier includes one month of priority support after delivery. There is no hidden retainer and no revenue share; if you want continued help beyond that, we scope it on request rather than lock you into a monthly contract.
How do you handle access to AdSense, Analytics and GDPR compliance? +
We request read-only access via Google invite, never passwords. Access is limited to 1–2 specialists on your audit and you revoke it with one click after delivery. We are EU-registered (CyberLab.Team OÜ, Estonia) and operate under GDPR; a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request. Your revenue and traffic data are never shared or reused.
