SaaS development services

We turn a customer workflow into software people sign up for. We help you define the first useful version, then build the product around how customers use it and what they pay for. You own the product; your customers get access to it. SaaS means software your customers use online, usually by subscription. An MVP, a minimum viable product, is the smallest version that is useful to a real customer.

Price on request · reply within one working day

A first version with a clear job: the customer workflow and the features needed to complete it.

A cost you can read: building the product and running it are two different costs.

A product you own: the source code, product accounts and instructions for operating it.

What you get

At handover you have:

  • An MVP plan with a main customer task and a list of what comes later.
  • Sign-up and account access, with roles for the people who use the product.
  • A plan for keeping each business's data separate if several businesses share the service.
  • Subscription rules and the payment connection in the estimate.
  • Imports and outside connections that have been checked for the first release.
  • Test results for the main workflows, plus backup and operating instructions.

We plan public product pages separately from the application behind sign-in. Search preparation belongs on those public pages. Screens behind sign-in stay out of search and need access controls instead. If the estimate includes customer acquisition pages, we define their GA4 events before the build.

What the cost depends on

We estimate from the first workflow customers need to finish. Features without a clear user or purpose stay out of the MVP.

  • Account types and what each role can see or change.
  • Whether customers share an application or need separate environments.
  • Subscription rules, plan changes and payment states.
  • Imports and the quality of the source data.
  • External services and what happens when a connection fails.
  • Data separation checks and the backup setup.
  • The operating handover and the support you need.

Hosting, payment processing and other service fees are outside costs and come on top of development. New product requirements get an updated estimate before work starts on them.

We answer every inquiry within one working day. The schedule depends on how clearly the first version is defined and when access to connected services is ready.

The product code and operating accounts are yours. We list licensed components and their terms at handover, along with who handles backups and incidents. Specialists from our side and contractors we know work on the product; CyberLab answers for the result.

What is included and what is not

Included

  • Defining the MVP and the account model.
  • Designing and building the customer workflow in the estimate.
  • Subscription handling and integrations within the estimate.
  • Checking access boundaries, payment states and the release process.
  • Source code and an operating handover.

Not included

  • Finding customers and validating demand for the product.
  • Payment provider approval and your customer contracts.
  • Cleaning historical data beyond the planned import.
  • Hosting, outside subscriptions and ongoing technical support.
  • Public marketing content, ongoing SEO and Google Ads management.

You set the commercial rules, such as plans and refunds. We list every open decision before it turns into development work.

When you need this

  • Customers repeat a task you can deliver through an online product.
  • You have tested the need and want an MVP people can use.
  • A prototype needs customer accounts and subscription handling.
  • Several businesses need the same workflow without seeing each other's data.
  • An existing product needs a defined extension or a planned data import.

How the work goes

What you have after each step

  1. Step 1. Define the first customer task

You get an MVP plan and a list of assumptions. You explain who will use the product and bring what you know from prospective users.

  2. Step 2. Map accounts and subscriptions

You get the user flow, access rules and a proposed operating setup. You confirm what customers pay for and what happens when access changes.

  3. Step 3. Build the first version

You get a test product with the agreed connections. You review it using realistic customer records. We check failed payments and attempts to access another business's data.

  4. Step 4. Prepare the release and handover

You get test results, source code and operating instructions. You approve the release after checking the main customer task. At handover we write down who restores data and who responds to incidents.

How we can work together

Pick the form that fits the task. We suggest one after the first conversation.

  • Consultation or audit

For when you want a second opinion on a plan, a system or a quote before you commit. You get a written review with recommendations and an estimate of the next step.

  • Fixed-scope project

This works when the requirements can be written down before work starts. You get the agreed scope for the agreed price. Anything new goes through an updated estimate first.

  • Time and materials

For when the scope will change as you learn, as with research or a new product. You pay for the time spent, and we review the plan with you as the work goes.

  • Support after launch

Your system is already live and needs updates, fixes and monitoring. We agree a monthly arrangement and a list of what it covers.

Platforms and tools we work with

React, Vue or Next.js for the product, Node.js, Laravel, .NET (C#) or Go for the server. PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis. Hosting on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or Hetzner.

We choose the platform from the task, and the list shows what we use most often.

Who this is for, and when it is too early

The product makes sense once you have a defined customer problem and someone responsible for product decisions. If the need is still an assumption, start with research or a smaller test before committing to a full product.

If a ready service covers the workflow, buying access may be enough. If only your employees need a browser tool, web app development may be a better fit. A SaaS product needs decisions about customer access and ongoing operation as well as features.

An MVP limits the first release, but it still needs working access controls and a recovery plan.

Frequently asked questions

Product and MVP

Are we buying a subscription or commissioning a product?
This service is for commissioning a product you own and offer to your customers. If you need software only for internal use, we first check whether a ready service covers the task.
What belongs in a SaaS MVP?
The shortest complete workflow that lets a customer get value. Account access and the checks needed to operate it belong in that first version; secondary features can wait.
Can the MVP start without paid subscriptions?
Yes, if that matches your test. We still define who gets access and how it ends. Billing can wait for a later release.

Accounts and access

What does multi-tenancy mean for our product?
It means several customer businesses use the service while their records stay separate. We define that boundary before choosing how the application and its data are organized.
Can a customer have several staff roles?
Yes, when the workflow needs them. We map which actions each role can take, including who can invite people, export records or close the account.
What happens after a failed subscription payment?
You decide the commercial rule, including any grace period. We describe the access changes and customer messages, then test those states with the payment connection.

Data and connections

Can new customers import their existing records?
An import can be part of the work. We check a sample first and decide how to report missing fields and duplicates without silently losing records.
What if an outside service stops responding?
We define which actions can wait and what users should see. For important operations, the work can include a way to track failed requests and retry them, and we check what happens to a repeated request.
Who is responsible for backups?
The handover names who runs backups and who decides when a restore is needed. A restore test is included when it is part of the estimate.

Operating the product

Which expenses continue after the product is built?
Hosting, payment processing and connected services can carry ongoing charges. Technical support is separate work.
Can we add new subscription plans later?
Yes, as a product change. Before building it, we check existing subscribers and decide how their access and billing should behave during the change.
Who decides what goes into the next release?
You keep product ownership. We can help turn user feedback into a development plan, with an estimate and checks for the effect on existing customers.
