Development

CRM development around how you sell

We keep the customer record connected from the first inquiry to the deal and payment status. A CRM (customer relationship management system) is where a business keeps its contacts, deals and sales history. We map how your staff sell, then check whether a ready CRM can support that process. Custom development starts with the gaps a standard setup cannot cover well.

Price on request · reply within one working day

A sales process people can follow: clear stages and responsibility for the next action.

Records that stay connected: contact details and deal history with defined access rights.

A checked move into daily use: import results, user training and an operating handover.

What you get

At handover you have:

  • A map of the inquiry-to-deal process and the first modules to build.
  • Customer and deal records with the fields your staff need.
  • Sales stages, task ownership and access rules for each role.
  • Connections to inquiry sources and other systems in the estimate.
  • Imported records with a report of missing or rejected data.
  • Workflow test results and instructions staff can use in their daily work.

If your process needs payment status, we define which system supplies it and who can change it. A CRM can show the sales view without replacing accounting. For Google Ads inquiries, we plan how the source reaches the record; campaign management remains separate.

What the cost depends on

We estimate from the sales process and a sample of the records you want to move.

  • Whether a ready product fits or custom modules are needed.
  • Sales stages, user roles and reporting needs.
  • The quality of existing contacts and deal history.
  • Duplicate records and the rules for combining them.
  • Connections to forms, communication tools or accounting.
  • Import checks and the move from the old system.
  • User training and support after the rollout.

Software licenses, hosting and outside services carry their own charges. Cleaning old records beyond the planned import is separate work. New modules get an updated estimate before development.

We answer every inquiry within one working day. The schedule depends on process decisions, the state of your data and access to connected systems.

The custom code and system accounts stay yours. We list licenses and document access rights at handover, including who can export records. Whoever works on the CRM, our specialists or contractors we know, the result is CyberLab's responsibility.

What is included and what is not

Included

  • Mapping the sales workflow and comparing implementation routes.
  • The modules, fields and permissions in the estimate.
  • Connections that have been checked for the estimate.
  • Importing records and checking their completeness.
  • User testing, staff training and a technical handover.

Not included

  • Deciding your sales rules.
  • Broad cleanup of source records beyond the planned import.
  • Replacing accounting or other operating systems.
  • Software subscriptions and ongoing maintenance.
  • Running sales outreach or Google Ads campaigns.

You name the owner of the sales process and approve the record-handling rules.

When you need this

  • Inquiries get lost between inboxes and spreadsheets.
  • Staff cannot see who owns the next step with a customer.
  • Customer history is split across tools that do not share records.
  • A standard CRM forces staff to repeat work outside it.
  • You need to replace an old system without losing usable history.

How the work goes

What you have after each step

  1. Step 1. Follow an inquiry through the sale

You get a process map and a list of the first modules. Your sales staff show real record types and explain handoffs, including deals that stop or reopen.

  2. Step 2. Choose the system route

You get a ready-product comparison or a custom development plan, with roles and fields. You approve the sales stages and identify which system owns each shared record.

  3. Step 3. Build and trial the data move

You get a test system with sample records and connection checks. We report duplicates and import gaps. Your staff try the full workflow before the final data move.

  4. Step 4. Roll out and train users

You get import totals, exception records and operating instructions. You check the moved history and approve the rollout. Staff practice their everyday tasks, and we record who handles support afterward.

How we can work together

Pick the form that fits the task. We suggest one after the first conversation.

  • Consultation or audit

For when you want a second opinion on a plan, a system or a quote before you commit. You get a written review with recommendations and an estimate of the next step.

  • Fixed-scope project

This works when the requirements can be written down before work starts. You get the agreed scope for the agreed price. Anything new goes through an updated estimate first.

  • Time and materials

For when the scope will change as you learn, as with research or a new product. You pay for the time spent, and we review the plan with you as the work goes.

  • Support after launch

Your system is already live and needs updates, fixes and monitoring. We agree a monthly arrangement and a list of what it covers.

Platforms and tools we work with

Custom CRM on Laravel, Node.js or .NET (C#), with a React or Vue interface and MySQL or PostgreSQL.

We choose the platform from the task, and the list shows what we use most often.

Who this is for, and when it is too early

Work goes best when the business can explain its sales process and has someone responsible for keeping it consistent. If staff disagree about stages or record ownership, settle those rules before building software around them.

If a ready CRM covers the workflow, configuration may be enough. If the main problem is a broken inquiry form, a focused repair can be smaller than a new system. If you need stock, orders and finance connected across the business, see ERP development, software that connects them.

Frequently asked questions

Sales process and modules

What is a good reason to build a custom CRM?
A defined sales workflow that ready products cannot handle well without repeated manual work. We identify that gap before proposing a new system.
Which modules should we start with?
Start with the records and actions needed to move an inquiry through a sale. Extra reporting and less frequent workflows can wait until the core process is usable.
Can the CRM track payment status without becoming accounting software?
Yes. The CRM can show whether an invoice is paid, while your accounting system stays the source of truth. We agree which system sends the status and who can change it.

Access and connections

Can sales staff be limited to their own customers?
That can be part of the permission model. We also define manager access and who may export records, then test those boundaries with different roles.
Can inquiries from several sources reach the same customer record?
We check each source and define matching rules. A matching email address may help identify a record, but unclear matches go to a list for you to review instead of being merged automatically.
What happens if an accounting connection is unavailable?
The CRM shows that the connection is down instead of showing old data as current. We define retries and which actions must wait for the connection to recover.

History and migration

How do you handle duplicate customer records?
We define what counts as a match and which fields take priority. Unclear duplicates stay on an exception list for your review so history is not combined blindly.
Can old notes and deal activity be retained?
We check a source export first. The migration plan identifies which history can move into the new system and what needs to remain in a readable archive.
How is the final import checked?
We compare source and destination record totals and inspect links between contacts and deals. Rejected records are reported separately, and your users check samples of the moved history.

Rollout and everyday use

Can staff try the CRM before the old system is retired?
Yes. A trial uses sample records and real sales scenarios. Before the final move, we set a cutover rule so changes in the old system are not lost or copied twice.
What do users practice during training?
Their own daily tasks, from recording an inquiry to handing over a deal. They also try a correction or a reassignment.
What if our sales stages change after rollout?
We check how the change affects open deals and reports before applying it. Simple configuration and new development are different work; you get an estimate where additional work is needed.
