Foreign edits
Someone changed your Google Maps profile. Your manager checks it against the details you agreed.
Categories change, hours "correct themselves", strangers' suggestions get accepted, Google pulls details from other sources. During the package checks your manager catches such changes, tells you exactly what moved, and after your confirmation puts the agreed details back.

Google accepts suggested edits and updates from outside sources. Most owners find out when a customer calls a wrong number or arrives at closed doors.
No record of what it was
The native interface shows today's state. The dashboard keeps the agreed values of every field, so there is something to compare against.
Recovery by memory
Restoring a field from memory goes wrong. The manager restores the agreed value (after your confirmation) and records it.
What the manager does
- Keeps the agreed profile data on record in the dashboard.
- During the scheduled work of the package, compares the live profile with the agreed data.
- Tells you what changed: the field, the previous value, the new one.
- After your confirmation, restores the agreed value and records it in the history.
What stays with you
- The decision: a change you actually wanted stays; a foreign one is restored only after you confirm.
- Ownership of the profile: the team acts with the access you granted.
- The full timeline of detected changes and restores in the dashboard.
How it works in practice
A car service suddenly shows as closed on Mondays after Google accepted someone's suggested edit. During the package check the manager spots the difference, tells the owner which field changed and from what to what, and once the owner confirms, puts the agreed hours back.
Limits and honesty
No service can stop Google from applying edits. The platform belongs to Google. Changes are found during the checks of your package, not within a set time.
