Every location we service has one of three packages. All three include a personal manager, photo updates and a review QR code. They differ in how much work the manager does on the location each month and in what comes on top. The current prices, monthly volumes and reply times are on the Google Maps management pricing page, so this guide describes the packages in words and leaves the figures there.
Start: steady upkeep of one profile
Start keeps a profile correct, current and answered. The manager updates the details on agreed requests, publishes posts and offers, replies to reviews within the monthly limit and sends a basic monthly report. It fits a location whose facts rarely change and which needs regular care more than active development.
On Start, changes to the details come as agreed requests. One request is one list of changes: new hours, a new phone number and a website link sent together count as one. How many requests a month are included is shown on the pricing page, and correcting a mistake of ours never uses one up.
Business: when the profile should develop
Business is for a location you want to develop on the map. The details are updated regularly as the business changes, and the manager optimizes the profile every month, adds your goods and services gradually and works to a content plan with a competitor analysis. The report is extended, and there is a quarterly consultation.
It suits a business with a long list of services or goods, frequent changes, or strong competition nearby. The initial fill of goods and services is planned across the first months of the service, and how far it gets depends on how much there is and on the materials you send. The manager also answers faster on Business than on Start. How Google weighs a profile in the results is explained in our Google Maps SEO guide, and no package can buy a position there.
Pro: Business plus Google Ads
Pro includes everything in Business and adds Google Ads: the initial setup and launch, ad copy and images, and campaigns run and optimized every month. The monthly report gets a section on the advertising work. The advertising budget is not part of the package; you pay it separately, straight to Google.
Choose Pro when you are ready to fund an advertising budget and want one team to handle both the profile and the ads. Where the ads show depends on the campaign settings and on Google’s own rules, so we do not promise placement on Google Maps alone. Where an ad needs your approval, the manager asks for it before it runs.
What stays the same in every package
Every package covers one Google location for one monthly service period. Each comes with a personal manager, photo updates, a review QR code, the checks for changes made by others and recovery work if Google suspends the profile. Unused posts and replies do not carry over to the next month.
Work beyond the package is agreed with your manager, together with its cost, before it starts. A photo shoot and the production of new materials are not included automatically. The Google Business Profile itself is free; what you pay for is the work of our team on it.
How to decide
Look at the state of the profile and at how often your business changes. If the facts are stable and you mainly need the profile kept right and answered, Start is usually enough. If you add services, run offers or compete hard nearby, look at Business. Consider Pro only with an advertising budget in mind.
You do not have to decide alone. After the express review the manager suggests a package for each location, and the choice stays yours. A location can move to another package from the next service period, and different locations of one company can be on different packages.
Business and Pro also carry a bonus website when you pay several months up front. The exact conditions, and what the website includes, are listed on the pricing page.
If you are not sure which package fits, ask for a free express review and the manager will suggest one for your location.
